We are excited to welcome Danelle to the Calibrate team. Danelle has recently moved up to Auckland and brings with her a fresh approach and a buzz of ideas. In this blog post, we ask her a few questions to get to know her better.

Danelle, tell us a bit about what you’ve been up to before joining Calibrate.

I graduated from Waikato University at the end of 2016 and moved straight into full time work as an external engagement coordinator at the university. I managed to fit in two months of fun travel around the USA over May and June and have recently made the move to Auckland with my boyfriend to start the next chapter.

What inspired you to pursue digital marketing?

While at University I was in a marketing club and we had a bunch of awesome guest speakers come and talk to us about marketing in the real world. A lot of these speakers worked in the digital marketing space and all really loved their jobs. It became obvious toward the end of my degree that if I was going to pursue marketing it would be in the digital space.

What are you hoping to achieve at Calibrate?

Lots of things, but they all focus on wanting to be able to help clients achieve their goals and get great results. Since I was told I was ‘hired’ I have already completed Google Analytics training and I’m also qualified in the HubSpot Inbound certification. It has been a great opportunity to grow my digital marketing skill sets.
